Saya from Blood+

The moment I saw this scene I knew I had to make a wall out of it. It's from the opening after episode 26 and I think it does really well as a wallpaper. It's a complete revector in Illustrator I only used the snapshot as a guideline.

The feel of the scene from the opening is complete chaos and I tried to capture that in the wall. By going for a very rough brush for the pen and the highly grainy texture (yes, it is the texture that everyone seem to use) that gives it something like dust from a big fire flying in the air. And the motion blur gives it the little extra mahem that it needs. The shapes in the background also look very irregular and chaotic which adds to the over all feel.

Took me about a day's hard work to get it done.

Apps used: Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS.

I might give you the non-motion-blur edition if you ask nicely XD
