Soi Fong from Bleach

So, I'm finally done with this wall! Took me forever since I really wanted it to be good. It all started when I saw this screen of her in the ending of episode 100 of Bleach. I thought I'd make a wall out of her since her pose was awesome and it would make a great celebration for 100 aired Bleach episodes. So I vectored it (from some 4 or 5 different screenshots, I might add) and used a different style of shading, you notice it best on her shoulder and on her thigh, and I love it!

The BG is a loong story... I started with a very very simple abstract clean type because I wanted the vector to be the focus of the wall. But after a few comments and ideas from very nice people in SZ I decided to go for a full grafic BG and her pose really reminded me of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and when for the flying on bamboo theme. Kinda fits her character as well in my opinion ("flash steps" and all). Even this bamboo theme went through a lot of versions. I did it all from scratch and I had nothing to guide my poor pen tool. And keeping in mind that I have no real artistic skill at all, I think it turned out quite nice. A lot wanted more bamboo and I tried that but I wanted the wall to be really clean from the beginning so I had to keep some of my original ideas. Think of it as if she's standing on this bamboo tree at the very edge of the forrest and leaning out over the water (even though you can't see the ground/water, it's still there) XD.

About the title, I was first thinking of something cheesy as "Crouching Tiger Hidden Soi Fong" or something but then I saw that I had named all my different versions of the bamboo theme "soi-fong-bamboo-1-"shitload"" and when you say it out loud it sounds kinda like some music from Cowboy Beebop :D
